Big Boi aka Daddy Fat Sacks
Born Febraury 1, 1975 in Savannah, Georgia, Big Boi (Antwan Patton) first moved to the East Point area of Atlanta as a teenager. The hardcore, more gangsta half of Outkast, Big Boi makes sure to always hold it down for the streets and has been doing that from the start of his musical career.
A contrast to his calmer partner, he enjoys partying and carries himself in a more pimp/playa-like manner, also sometimes identifying himself as Daddy Fat Sacks. He can be identified by his rapid-fire delivery and complex rhymes, a style which has become more apparent since the album ATLiens. He is also much more direct of the duo, and often can be seen using his lyrics to criticize the problems that plague the African-American community as well as the world.
But dont be fooled by his gangsta approach and tough appearance. The rapper does have a good business-sensed mind and is currently involved in many different ventures. He owns the famous Atlanta adult entertainment club named Body Tap, a pitbull kennel named Pitfall, and is CEO of the label Purple Ribbon, which released there first album in November of 2005 called, Got Purp?.
In addition, he has also made many guest appearances on other artists songs including the 1999 Missy Elliott hit, "All N My Grill", the Youngbloodz' "85 South", and Trick Daddy's 2001 single "In Da Wind" and has even begun an acting career starred in the recent movie release, ATL.
